Dear Fellow Americans:

The planned Flight 93 Memorial contains extensive Islamic symbolism. It is an insult to my son Tom, and to the other murdered heroes of Flight 93 who stopped Islamic terrorists from destroying the White House or the Capitol that terrible September day.

Please consider signing this online petition that I and some compatriots have put together. It calls for a new memorial design, and for investigation of the present design. If you want to do more, feel free to forward or post this appeal.

For those who are not familiar, the original “Crescent of Embrace” design was laid out in the crescent and star configuration of an Islamic flag:

Outrage over this overt Islamic symbolism forced the Memorial Project to disguise the original crescent with a few additional trees, but every particle of the original design remains completely intact in the so-called redesign. The giant crescent and star flag is still there!

The Memorial Project assumes that any similarity to an Islamic crescent has to be unintentional. Even if it WERE unintentional it would still be intolerable, but how can anyone look at that crescent and star configuration and think that it CAN’T be intentional? That is like seeing an airliner fly into the World Trade Center and thinking that it CAN’T be intentional. Worst of all, the Memorial Project refuses to confront voluminous evidence that the Islamic symbolism IS intentional.

It turns out that a person facing into the giant crescent will be facing Mecca. A crescent that Muslims face into to face Mecca is called a “mihrab” and is the central feature around which every mosque is built. The crescent memorial will be the world’s largest mosque!

When TWO airplanes fly into the World Trade Center, even the most naïve person has start taking the possibility of intent seriously, but not the Memorial Project. The Islamic symbolism in Flight 93 Memorial goes on and on, but the Park Service refuses to be concerned.

Architect Paul Murdoch says that the crescent shape comes from the hijacked airplane breaking the circle where it crosses the upper crescent tip. The flight path then continues down to between the crescent tips where Flight 93 crashed. (That’s right: the crash site is the star on the crescent and star flag.)

Along the flight path are to be placed 44 translucent blocks, equaling the number of passengers, crew, AND terrorists:

Left image: The Memorial Wall, traces flight path just above the point of impact. The white line at eye level is a set of 43 glass blocks, 40 to be inscribed with the names of my son and the other passengers and crew, and three (on the near side of the gap) to be inscribed with 9/11 date.

Right image: At the upper crescent tip, at the end of the Entry Portal Walkway, sits a huge glass block, the 44th glass block on the flight path. It marks the spot where, in the architect’s description, the terrorists broke our humanitarian circle, turning it into a giant (Islamic shaped) crescent. Inscription: “A field of honor forever.”

I don’t want to celebrate the terrorist’s circle-breaking crescent-creating feat, and I certainly don’t want my son’s name inscribed on that terrorist memorializing block count.

We need to get the word out: the Flight 93 Memorial has been re-hijacked, and this time the whole nation is aboard. We have to get up out of our seats and stop this abomination!

DEFIANCE IN THE NAME OF FREEDOM

LiveLeak was seriously threatened with violence by Islamic Jihadist for having the 15 minute film “Fitna” on its site. They were forced to take it down.  What makes this threat different from other threats of the same nature is, this time it was not just against a Dutch or German outfit for broadcasting or printing something they didn't like, it was against one of our own, an American site. In threatening one of us, Islamic Jihadist COWARDS extended the threat to any of us who dare to post this film.

Well, here you go..... IN THE NAME OF FREEDOM AND IN DEFIANCE OF THE ISLAMIC BRAND OF CENSORSHIP, it's posted here below. Warning, it's graphic. It's not the sanitized version edited by YouTube, nor the one LiveLeak ultimately permitted, but the original film uploaded to LiveLeak by Geert Wilders.

LiveLeak gave up the struggle for Freedom with a whimper, claiming the risk was too high.  Too high, I question??? Are you kidding me???  Our countrymen throughout our history have fought and died to preserve that which LiveLeak tossed aside with scarcely the nerve to publicly explain why, let alone tell those creeps exactly what they could do with their threats.  Shame on them, and shame on all those who enjoy the Freedom that others have sacrificed and died to secure but dare not participate themselves in the struggle to secure it.

Since when has the fight to preserve Freedom ever been risk free or someone else's job? When it's our time to stand on the home front, real men and women TAKE THEIR STAND. They do not cower to cowards who can't muster the courage to reveal themselves, who must hide under black hoods and make their threats from the distant dark.  We respect and honor the courage of those in uniform, and we do this not with lip-service, but by standing with them on the home front when the time comes for us to do so. AND THAT TIME IS NOW.

Celebrate Freedom by demonstrating the courage LiveLeak failed to show.  To every American with a blog or website, I urge you to display FITNA prominently on your sites, and keep it displayed, up front, in their face, from now until forever if we must.  Why? Because Islamic Jihadist are denying us our Freedom to post it with threats of violence... that's cause enough.  If you don't have a blog or website, I urge you to still make a statement by downloading and watching this film.  It's not the film so much as it is our response to their threats. WE EITHER STAND UP FOR FREEDOM TOGETHER, OR LOSE IT ALONE.

You've heard it said, it's not the journalist but the soldier who secures our freedoms. Please note how many journalist in the main-stream media are standing up against these Jihadist; how many are risking their lives for our Freedom; how many of them are on the front lines defending our right to post this film by uploading it and keeping it displayed themselves?  Not a one as of the time of this posting, and I don't expect that to change. THIS IS OUR TIME TO STAND WITH THOSE WHO ARE TRULY PRESERVING FREEDOM. It's time to SHOW OUR TRUE COLORS.

To the online community all across America, stand with the boldness of a solitary soldier; stand in defense of Freedom on the home front; show these bas*ards where they can stick their threats.  To all Muslims I say, if you’re so ashamed of the way your beliefs are supposedly misused by radicals and allegedly mischaracterize you, then REFORM Islam so there’s no misinterpretation.  SIMPLE.

UPDATE

LiveLeak has had a change of heart, brought about no doubt by public ridicule from the online community of its original decision not to show "Fitna." Somewhere along the line LiveLeak found strength and courage. Three cheers and hats off to you LiveLeak. It perhaps took more courage to reverse your original decision. For that, I am now posting the new LiveLeak version link to "Fitna."

There are some changes, but only in terms of corrections, not content. The new version of Fitna has removed the cartoon made famous by Kurt Westergaard and replaced it with an original work by Scarlet Pimpernel, plus replaced the picture of Salah Edin with the real Mohammed Bouyeri. The corrections were done by Geert Wilders, not LiveLeak.

UPDATE

I'm not sure why Wilders replaced the Kurt Westergaard cartoon. It may have been a copyright infringement. In any event, the threat of violence for posting "Fitna" still stands....and thus WE STILL STAND.
